New Capitol Hotel

The New Capitol Hotel is located in the Heart of Salah El Dien Street.The Hotel is being renovated completely and is due to open end of 2018.The hotel is comprised of 69 rooms with several F&B outlets.The Hotel will mainly target the incoming pilgrimage market due to its proximity to the Holy Site in the Old City of Jerusalem.

We are soliciting qualified candidate to fill the below vacant position in preparation for the soft opening of the Hotel.

Chef

The Chef is responsible for the consistent preparation of innovative and creative cuisine of the highest quality, presentation and flavor for the dining rooms, banquets and other food facilities, resulting in outstanding guest satisfaction. Additionally responsible for the smooth running of the kitchen and manage areas of profit, stock, wastage control, hygiene practices and training within the kitchen.

- A university degree in culinary arts or a related field.
- A minimum of (5) years of experience of which at least (2) to (3) years in similar role.

Chief Accountant

The Chief Accountant will lead the finance and associated operations such that account management, and reporting are managed to optimise the hotels profitability.

- A university degree in accounting/ finance or a related field. Professional certifications are a plus.

- A minimum of (5) years of experience, preferably in a hospitality or food and beverage environment and quality with a background that includes forecasting and budgeting.

Maintenance Supervisor

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible to manage all aspects of maintenance staff on a daily basis. Directs, coordinates and performs routine, preventive and emergency interior/ exterior maintenance and repairs to obtain optimum efficiency and economy of hotel operations.

- A university degree in engineering or a related field.

- A minimum of (3) to (5) years of experience.

The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible to supervise all housekeeping employees, plans and assigns work assignments, give training for newly recruited employees, audit and inspects housekeeping personal work assignment and requisition supplies.

- A university degree in hotel management or a related field.
- A minimum of (5) years of experience of which at least (2) to (3) years in similar role.

General Manager

The General Manager is responsible for all aspects of operations at the hotel, to day-to-day staff management and guests. Provide leadership and strategic planning to all departments in support of our service culture, maximized operations and guest satisfaction. Work very closely with the hotel’s stake holders. The General Manager is Responsible also for managing the hotel’s management team (HOD’s) and overall hotel targets to deliver an excellent guest experience. The General Manager would also be required to manage between profitability and guest satisfaction measures.

- A university degree in hotel management or a related field with experience in opening, managing or re-positioning a hotel with clear track record.

- A minimum of (7) to (10) years of experience of which at least (2) to (3) years in similar role.
